dc.description.abstract Background: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been rapidly spreading all over the world. Although the Ethiopian government has recognized the public health importance of COVID-19 and has taken strong initiatives, there is still room for improvement in highly exposed communities. Objective: To assess the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19) and determine factors associated with preventive practices among St George brewery workers in Addis Ababa. Methods: An institution-based cross-sectional study was conducted among 404 factory workers at St. George Brewery from April 1-9, 2021 in Addis Ababa. Data collection was performed using a self-administered questionnaire. Both bivariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses with a 95% Confidence Interval (CI) were fitted to identify factors associated with knowledge, attitude and practice towards COVID-19. The adjusted odds ratio (AOR) was used to determine the magnitude of the association between the dependent and independent variables. P-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: The study identified that (29%, 95% CI: 24.8-33.4) of the participants had good knowledge of COVID-19. In terms of attitude and practice, (68.3%, 95% CI:63.6-72.5) and (43.8%, 95% CI: 38.1-49.2) of the participants had good attitudes and practices. Good practice was found to be significantly associated with participants who trusted Health Organizations and Professionals as sources of COVID-19 information. Even though the knowledge level is high actual implementation of preventive practice found to be lower. Conclusion and Recommendation: The finidings showed that there is inadequate level of knowledge about clinical symptoms and implementation of preventive practices. Therefore, there is a pressing need to fill the knowledge gap on clinical symptoms and improve practice. Designing a tailored intervention specific to the study participants regarding provisions of health education at the workplace could help improve the knowledge and practice among the factory workers...............
