Abstract:
Background: Hypertension, a major but modifable risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, is a global health problem
including Ethiopia. In a limited infrastructure task sharing of hypertension screening for community health workers is
a feasible strategy to improve hypertension management. Recent fnding have shown that trained health extension
workers (HEWs) can identify high blood pressure, which was efective and feasible. Identifying barriers and enablers
