Health emergency preparedness, response and resilience project for Eastern and Southern Africa under phase I of the multi-phase programmatic approach

Abstract

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (Recipient) will implement the Health Emergency Preparedness, Response and Resilience Project for Eastern and Southern Africa under Phase I of the Multiphase Programmatic Approach (the “Project”) with the involvement of the Ministry of Health (MoH), Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI), Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI), Ethiopia Pharmaceutical Supply Services (EPSS), Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA), and Regional Health Bureaus and Zonal Health Offices(EPHI, AHRI, EPSS, EFDA and the Regional Health Bureaus and Zonal Health Offices collectively referred to as the “MDAs”) ; as set out in the Financing Agreement. The International Development Association (Association) has agreed to provide financing for the Project, as set out in the referred agreement
