Background: A patient handover refers to the transfer of care from one care provider to the next and involves three aspects: a transfer of information, responsibility, and authority. Poor handover practice is a threat to patient safety and is associated with adverse outcomes. This study aimed to assess the knowledge and practice of patient clinical handover.
