dc.description.abstract Achieving and maintaining acceptable levels of quality of care in the view of decentralization and rapid scale up of HIV prevention, care and treatment in Ethiopia is a matter of concern. But providing good quality health care to the increasing number of PLHIV is a great challenge mainly due to lack of resources. One strategy in response to the human resource constraints of HIV/AIDS activities in Ethiopia is task-shifting. While performing task-shifting activities, we have to maintain quality of HIV/AIDS services in the health facilities. Even though many factors govern HIV service quality, a well-designed and coordinated clinical mentoring program is taken as an immediate option of interventions to achieve and maintain the desired quality of HIV care/ART. en_US
