dc.description.abstract Early mobilization is the physical activity performed on ICU patients as early as the second to fifth days of ICU admission due to their critical illness. Most of ICU admitted patient develops many complications which are not related to their primary diagnosis. EM improves the patient's physiological functioning, reduce length of stay, and improve mechanical ventilator weaning. Despite its importance, the early mobility procedure is not performed in most ICU settings. The main problem is related to the knowledge and practice of health care providers towards early mobility for ICU patients. en_US
