Abstract:
Intimate partner violence (IPV) is any behavior within an intimate relationship that results in physical, psychological or sexual harm to those in the relationship. It occurs in all countries including Ethiopia, transcending different groups. IPV is one of the factors that affects women’s ability to control the number, timing and spacing of their children. There is paucity of research evidence on IPV among contraceptive users in the southern parts of Ethiopia in general and in the study area in particular.
