dc.description.abstract Every woman has the right to a positive birth experience and compassionate and respectful care from knowledgeable, skilled providers in a health institution. But women across the globe experienced disrespectful and abusive treatment during labor and childbirth in health institutions. Evidence on the status of respectful maternity care and associated factor among women during childbirth was not well studied in Ethiopia, particularly in the study area.
