dc.description.abstract Integrated community case management (ICCM) is the strategy that enables the community level assessment, classification, treatment of childhood illness like pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria, and malnutrition which are the common causes of mortality and morbidity among under-five children. The ICCM service is provided at the community level by the health extension workers and communities were expected to seek service for the common childhood illnesses. However, evidence regarding ICCM service utilization is lacking in eastern Ethiopia including the current study area. en_US
